Bishop’s Burse (Courts Diocese)

The goal of the annual dinner is to give councils and assemblies from around the diocese an opportunity to present checks to the bishop to support the vocations program. The idea for the burse, or the funding dinner, began many years ago and has since grown and now other chapters within the state have followed the tradition and hold Burse dinners for their own bishops.  California Courts annually support Bishop’s Burse in their regions.
