Court Blessed Sacrament #2024 baked delicious “fish” cookies to support the Knights of Columbus Fish Fry at Blessed Sacrament Church in Westminister.

Court Our Lady of Good Success #1661 hosted its annual Valentine Luncheon fundraiser this spring. This beloved tradition continues to be a meaningful opportunity to bring together our Catholic Daughters, parish family, and members of the community in fellowship, friendship, and service.

Court St. John Chrysostom #2658 members attended the African Am. History Month Mass on February 28, 2026 at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels. CDA member Urla Gomes was presented with St. John Chrysostom Church “Keeper of the Flame” award by the African American Catholic Center for Evangelization. The annual award is presented in remembrance of the founder of the National Black Catholic Congress, Daniel Rudd. Mr. Rudd’s passion for evangelization was demonstrated in 1889 when he called together the very first National Black Catholic Congress. The award is given to those who have kept the Flame of Evangelization burning in the Los Angeles African Am. Catholic Community.
Court Compton #942 enjoyed a fun night on February 28, 2026 of delicious pasta, wine and fellowship at the Court’s convention fundraiser. Court Blessed Sacrament #2024 celebrated their 55th Anniversary on Sunday, February 15, 2026 in Westminster with Celebrant Fr. Tuyen Van Nguyen, Chaplain. A delicious luncheon followed.
Court Our Lady of La Salette #2499 hosted a Valentines’ tea for the ladies of Our Lady of the Desert parish in Apple Valley, CA. Over 60 Catholic women enjoyed tea, food, and fellowship. The focus of the tea was on the Circle of Love, Lorena Meza, Regent of Court #2499, gave a talk on Jesus’ heart speaking to our hearts.
Court St. Joachim #2553, Annual Prayer Breakfast was a huge success! Fr. Gustavo Lopez, O.S.J., spoke to a sold out attendees on the theme, “Let the Children Come to Me”. Congratulations!
Court St. Rita #2610 hosted Fresno Diocese’s Traveling Rosary. Officers of the State Board and Spiritual Advisory, Deacon Tim joined with CDA sisters to pray the rosary.
Court Our Lady of Victory # 1344 hosted a very successful Holiday Boutique at Kavanagh Hall in Redondo Beach, CA. A festive Christmas party was held for members!
Court Holy Spirit #1803 joined with the Columbiette Sisters from St. Frances X Cabrini Church to bring joy to children by handing out candy and ducks and to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas along the Yucaipa Christmas Parade route.
CDA Court Our Lady of La Salette #2499 sewed and filled over 50 “ditty bags,” of which some were donated to A Better Way, a local women’s domestic violence shelter. The ditty bags sewn by Court members were filled with travel sized toiletries: soap, toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion. Chairperson Gloria cordinated the project.

Blessed Sacrament #2024 joined together for a Christmas celebration in Huntington Beach, CA. Members continued their tradition of giving Christmas cards to each other.
Each year members of Court Compton #942 CDA members give grocery gift cards and bibles to 10 families at Our Lady of Victory and St. Lawrence of Brindisi Churches. On Sunday, Dec. 14th Fr. Cleopas Nsom blesses the gifts and they are given to the Our Lady of Victory families.
Court Compton #942 and JCDA Court Mother Lupita decorated Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church for Thanksgiving. Beautiful decorations inspired by Yesnia, Marnee and Maribel. Thank you JCDA for being a blessing.
Court Sacramento #172 sponsored a “Friend’s Giving Breakfast” on Sunday, November 23rd. Members held a breakfast fundraiser and boxed the remaining breakfasts for the homeless on the street and took the canned goods to Loaves and Fishes.
Court San Ysidro #1507 All Saints Day Project: Remembering and honoring the little angels who were lost through abortion and stillborn. Pictured is Joan Noyes, Chair of Right to Life and Our Lady of Lourdes Pastor, Fr. Rolly. Parishioners of Our Lady of Lourdes wrote the names of these precious little ones on an angel tag and hung it from the tree.
