Our members share faith, love of God and a distinctly feminine spirituality alluded to by Pope John Paul II when he spoke of the necessity of “feminine genius” in today’s world.
Catholic Daughters worship together, pray together and help each other be the best Catholic women they can possibly be.
Their spirituality forms their actions as Catholic Daughters “strive to embrace the principle of faith working through love in the promotion of justice, equality, and the advancement of human rights and human dignity for all.”
COMMITMENT PRAYER
Lord Jesus, thank you for enabling us to gather here today,
we wouldn’t have done this without you.
Lord, help us to be women who commit to your plans.
We go through so many challenges as women,
and there are times we want to quit everything.
But, we know that you created us for a purpose, and, by your grace,
we can handle everything that you’ve given us.
Help us to commit to your plans and to our relationship with you
so that we may not stray from our calling.
Not just as mothers or wives, but also as women who are committed
to serving God in different ministries.
In Jesus’ name, we pray, Amen.
