CONGRATULATIONS TO CALIFORNIA CDA’S 2026 WOMEN OF THE YEAR!
Awards received at the 61st National Convention on July 23, 2026 at the CA State Dinner in Coralville, Iowa.
CENTRAL: Maria Santos-Silva from Court Regina Coeli #1521 has been a prominent figure in California CDA for many years. She has been a local court officer, on the State Board, served as State Regent and has been fine-tuning her leadership skills many through CDA and other organizations. She has assisted National CDA by providing PowerPoints’ training and Zoom training to other states.  Maria is a wife, mother and grandmother, District Deputy and is always willing to say “yes” to anything that is asked of her by CDA CA.

NORTHERN:  Maria Arechiga from Court Mary Queen of the World #2400 has always quietly worked in the background, taking on many less desirable tasks and has always been a great support to the Regent, whether by physically taking on tasks or keeping her sane during intense moments. This nominee has recently said “yes” to more leadership roles in her court and in the state. Maria is a wife, mother and grandmother and now a District Deputy and a State Circle of Love Chair.

SOUTHERN:  Jennifer Campbell from Court Good Shepherd #1930 has been a Catholic Daughters for many years and has served as court officer numerous times. She is a District Deputy; supervising up to four four courts at one time, until recently. She has helped with CDA training and always says yes, to what she has asked. For many years, Jennifer served as Chair of the CA Convention.  Jennifer is a wife, mother and grandmother and is always willing to assist with any task.
