Dear Outgoing Local Court Regents, please ensure that the New Local Court Officer Form is completed and sent to the National Office and State Regent immediately after elections. Per the By-Laws of our Order, By-Laws Book 2024, page 40, Article XIII, section 3.C, “Officers shall be elected by ballot at the regular business meeting in May…”   ​Please ensure that this form is sent right away. Correspondence for the new officers will begin July 1st.   
​Also, please make sure to complete the IRS Form 8822-B.This form is to change the address of your court. The new Regent’s address is entered. All courts have an Employer Identification Number. Charities like businesses are required to have one by the IRS and is ID for bank accounts and other formal documents. You must complete the form even if you did not change Regent.
